The Philippine Madrigal Singers in Tanghalan Naming Tahanan with Choirmaster Mark Anthony Carpio
Premieres 3 PM Thursday, 30 April
The Philippine Madrigal Singers pay tribute to the 50 golden years of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the home of Philippine arts: this home that is a sanctuary where artists find meaning and direction; this home that is both paragon and bulwark of Philippine culture and arts!
Leading the performers who are joining them in this tribute are two highly-esteemed resident companies of the CCP, the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group and The Bayanihan, The National Folk Dance Company of the Philippines!
Joining them also are the Mini-Madz, the Schola Cantorum, the Male Ensemble Nine (MEN), the Musika Filipina, the UP Symphony Orchestra, and two rising artists of this generation, Mr. Paolo Panagsagan (pianist) and Mr. Al Bernard Garcia (dancer)!
