Lea Salonga's "SONGS from the STAGE"...

...a theater nerd's dream come true.
The night is perfect as she gave tribute to stage masters and their masterpieces. What i like most 'bout the show is, she sang those not so familiar songs for me. Not the standard hit ones from musicals, like "Empty Chairs, Empty Tables" from Les Miserables (Uhh i love this heart-breaking song seriously) instead of "On My Own" or "I Dreamed a Dream". The Bodyguard Musical - "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" instead of  "Run to You" or "I will Always Love You.". Very unexpected for me. The repertoire is awesome. Featuring hits from Pinoy plays - Rama Sita and Rak of Aegis. Perfect night!

I can't help comparing Lea Salonga's hair to that of Leah Navarro's fix in the 80s. They're both lovely (see photos below).

Powerful duet with JET PANGAN (and a solo). Also lovely theater kids (including The Voice Kid - Esang de Torres). And oh.. and i can't forget that dance-able gayest medley evah - of "Xanadu, I Will Survive...".
