SYNOPSIS:
The Ordinary Things We Do features the story of six souls—three couples—and a celebration of one same love. A critical look at the essence of human romantic partnership, this experimental silent short film celebrates the diversity of the expression of affection and intimacy. When everything material and immaterial are stripped off, what remains are souls united by and in love.

FILMMAKER PROFILE:
David R. Corpuz hails from San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. He recently received an MA Media Studies (Film) degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman. A filmmaker, media scholar, and educator, David's research and creative interests are centered on avant garde cinema and the representation of gender in media. He also served as liaison officer at the UP Information Technology Development Center (UP ITDC) and as web producer at Summit Media's Cosmopolitan (cosmo.ph) and the now-defunct Techie. The Ordinary Things We Do is a research-based creative work awarded as Best Master's Thesis at the April 2014 UP College of Mass Communication graduation rites.
