SYNOPSIS:
A struggle between a painter and his work. Rex paints his frustrations on canvas: the ballerina. The struggle between him and his artwork escalates and is channeled through the paintbrush; and as Rex sees his artwork taking control over him, he tries to fight back.

FILMMAKER PROFILE:
Joris Fernandez is a young filmmaker who obtained his Bachelors Degree in Film at the University of the Philippines, Diliman Film Institute. He started production work as an editor and has since work for notable TV shows and films. His interest in film making grew, having been able to work with well known directors in the industry. Joris is also interested in Production Design which is very notable in his works as a director. Indayog ng Nayatamak is his thesis film which received the Best undergraduate Thesis Award from the UP Film Institute in 2013 and was recognised by the Motion Pictures Association Asia Pacific as one of the Best Student short films in the region.
